Selling :: Listing your Tender

1. List a vehicle you wish to wholesale. This will include vehicle information, photos and the ability to mark damages/defects or special notes. A price range high and low value is used to match your vehicle with potential purchasers and will not be shown on our website.
2. Our database will match your vehicle with potential purchasers and automatically send them an email alerting them that a new vehicle is available for them to place a bid on.
3. At the close of your tender you will be presented with all the submitted tender prices and have the option to either accept a tender, decline all tenders and re-tender, or remove the vehicle from the website.

Buying :: Bidding on a Tender

1. Once you have created your user profile our system will automatically notify you of any new vehicles listed for sale that match your profile. Or, you can manually browse our site at your leisure.
2. Log on to our website to view vehicle information, additional pictures and the damages/defects (if any) of the vehicle. If you like what you see, follow the online instructions to place a tender price on the vehicle.
3. At the close of the tender you will be notified whether your tender price has been accepted. If you missed out you will be told how much the vehicle sold for.

What are the advantages of using our system?

When selling a vehicle:

How many of your unwanted vehicles go to auction or tender centres and then end up on another dealer's yard in the same town as you? Somewhere between the amount you received for the vehicle and the amount the other dealer paid for the vehicle (approximately $300 - $700) has gone missing in fees and charges. What would it do to your bottom line profit if you could receive on average another $200 per vehicle you wholesale each month? We believe that is achievable by introducing you directly to the end purchaser of your wholesale vehicles.

When buying a vehicle:

Don't travel all around New Zealand looking for good stock - let it come to you. You will receive email notification of all available vehicles that match your user profile. Appraise the stock online and place a tender price on it without leaving your office.

When trying to get a line up on a vehicle:

Are you trying to trade a vehicle but do not know what it's worth or want to cash it up prior to offering a trade in value to the client? Simple - list the vehicle on a short one or two day tender and see what offers come in.

What does it cost?

1. Creating a user account, listing a new vehicle and placing a bid are all FREE.
2. ACCEPTANCE OF A TENDER on a vehicle you have listed incurs a fee of NZ$25.00 ex gst, we will send an invoice to your e-mail address which is payable 20th of the following month.
3. ACCEPTANCE OF A BID PLACED on a vehicle tender which is successful incurs a fee of NZ$25.00 ex gst, we will send and invoice to your e-mail address which is payable 20th of the month following.
4. Both the buyer and seller pay equally under the AutoTender system, and only for successful outcomes.

Important Note: Autotender is a website for RMVT dealers to buy and sell their vehicles between each other. Think of us as an introduction service. We do not, and will not, become involved in the sale agreement or the transfer of funds between dealers. Nor will we become involved in any disputes that may arise between dealers. AutoTender operates a feedback system that allows you to comment on your dealings with each other and you are encouraged to take the time to submit feedback to help protect yourself and others from dubious dealers.
